Note: the rest of this is from the 1/30/04 version, which is quite different from the way they play it every time since. Now they end it with a jam very similar to the beginning of the song, with these lyrics... I missed the boat on what you said So say it all again Unless it's the same thing Here's the other part from 1/30/04, I don't know why they dropped it? Must have felt it didn't really fit with the rest of the song, hopefully it pops up again somewhere... The jam builds very slowly, based on G F Eb F You can play major scales on each chord, as in Ionian mode. These are some of the main riffs that the jam builds on...

Here's another, basically the whole jam you are repeating and building on shapes, just sliding up or down 2 frets depending on which chord you're on... To play it right, you really just wanna try to free form around these shapes, don't sit on one to long, weave them together and expand on them... Play this, then again down 2 frets, then again down 2 more, then up 2...
