Verse 1
G Em Am D Blessed are the poor for heaven is theirs G Em Am D Blessed are the sorrowful for they shall be glad G Em Am D Blessed are the meek for theirs is the earth G Em Am G D G Blessed are the righteous for they shall be sa – tis - fied
Verse 2
G Em Am D Blessed are the merciful for they shall have mercy G Em Am D Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God G Em Am D Blessed are the peaceable for they shall be God’s sons G Em Am G D G Blessed are the wronged for the kingdom of God is theirs

G Em Am D Do not be anxious saying what shall I eat G Em Am D Look up a -- bove at the birds of the air G Em Am D They do not sow or reap or gather into barn G Em Am Yet, your Father feeds them are you not worth G D G more than they
Verse 4
G Em Am D Do not be anxious saying what shall I wear G Em Am D Look at the lilies of the field as they grow G Em Am D Solomon in glory was never thus ar -- rayed G Em Am If God so loved the grass, how much more ye of G D G Lit -- tle faith.
