PINCH HARMONICS
There are two types of pinch harmonic in this song, Pinch Harmonic [5] and Pinch Harmonic [4],
shown in this tab as +5 and +4.
A Pinch Harmonic [5] creates the same note at the same pitch as an artificial harmonic 5 frets
above the note which is being played. Similarly, a Pinch Harmonic [4] creates the same note at
the same pitch as an artificial harmonic 4 frets above the note which is being played.
In order to find the spots for these pinch harmonics, a Pinch Harmonic [5] on the fifth fret
will be the same distance from the bridge as the fifth fret (the fret, not the gap) is from the
tenth fret (the fret, not the gap) and similarly a Pinch Harmonic [5] on the sixth fret will be
the same distance from the bridge as the sixth fret is from the eleventh fret. In the same way,
a Pinch Harmonic [4] on the fifth fret will be the same distance from the bridge as the fifth
fret is from the ninth fret... You get the idea (I hope).
