Like Rain is one of Nils’ earliest compositions and one of his most enduring. It has
always featured in his live set dating back to his time with Grin and continues to do
so to this day, some fifty years after the song was first released. Unusually for a
Lofgren composition, it does not feature a guitar solo, but is a beautiful song
nonetheless. To emphasise the changes more emphatically, the Esus4 chord can be
replaced by A and Dsus4 by G.
