Tone: I use sustain with mild crunch, a hint of chorus and reverb. To get
the smooth sound like the album, you can use the bridge pickup
Playing Notes: A technically simple, but very emotional solo. Listen to the
song to get the "feel". Make the bends very fluid. Some bends are slow,
others are quick. Play the notes at the end of the 2nd line and near the
end of the solo more stacatto to enhance the "vibe". Once you've learned it,
to perform, immerse yourself in the "mood" of the song, close your eyes and
play. I'll guarantee that by the time you hit the last bend, you (and your
audience) will have the goosebumps.
