(* Harmonics) In the breaks and also verses 1, 4, 7 and 10, Alun fingerpicks a quick G to G4 pattern (shown below), throughout the whole of these verses,and also whenever Cat is playing the G to D7 pattern, at the end of all the other verses. Play the G chord shape and then add the suspended 4th with the little finger. Use the Thumb to pick the D & G strings,and Ring/Middle fingers to pick the B & E strings.
In verses 2 & 3, 5 & 6, 8 & 9, and 10 to 12, Alun uses the same style picking moved up to a C chord:
