Verse:
Solo 1: Basically, you're holding your fingers in a D major position. Mute the D string the entire time! Hold the middle finger on the D string the entire time. All down picking!
Verse alternation: Comes in the second time you play the intro, after playing it regularly the first time.
End the "intro" with:
Chorus: Fairly simple, just a couple of chords, figure out the strumming on your own, It's really simple.
Solo 2: Just like before, hold your hand in an A major esque position, with the middle finger holding the D string the entire time. No palm muting this time.
You don't have to play the notes in parentheses, I just think it sounds better that way. Ending chord:
